Accessibility
Our commitment
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
What we have done
- Used a clear heading structure and descriptive link text
- Kept the layout responsive so it works on phones, tablets and desktops
- Made the main menu usable with a keyboard
- Chosen text and background colours with strong contrast
Known limitations
- The site has not yet been formally audited against WCAG 2.2.
- Some reports and resources are PDFs hosted by other organisations, which may not be fully accessible.
- Embedded or linked videos may not have captions or transcripts.
- Keyboard-only and screen reader testing is still to be done.
How we tested
In October 2026 we ran an automated scan with axe-core across all pages of the site, at desktop width and at 320px wide. It checked against WCAG 2.2 level A and AA rules. Automated tools find only some accessibility problems, so this does not replace manual testing.
