Who is responsible for your information
Planetary Solvency (“we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us using the contact form.
What we collect
This website is a static site and does not ask you to create an account. We may receive personal information when you:
- Contact us through our contact form. Your message passes through our website host (Cloudflare) and is stored in Google Forms, so the details you submit (your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message) are processed by both. We may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a submission comes from a person.
- Subscribe to our newsletter. Our newsletter is delivered through Substack, which collects your email address under its own privacy policy.
- Visit the website. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used, which sets cookies and sends information about your visit to Google (see our cookies page).
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiries, send the newsletter you have asked for, keep the website secure and understand how it is used in aggregate.
Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law we rely on legitimate interests (running the programme and answering enquiries) and on your consent (for the newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who we share it with
We use service providers to host the website and handle forms and newsletters, including [Cloudflare], Google and Substack. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
[State retention periods, for example enquiries kept for 24 months unless a continuing relationship exists.]
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
